Our main hobby is archaeology though we are both interested in music.
As archaeologists (and with our technical background) we have got to know and teach GIS.
We belong to several archaeology groups so we will use that as an example of our digital selves here.
We have been helping a local archaeological group NWAG (North Worcestershire Archaeological Group) GIS skills. With an impressive portfolio of sites and publications they have investigated, learning QGIS will enable them to further develop their exploration skills and log what has been found for publication in our local HER (Historical Environment Record) office via PAS (the Portable Antiquity Scheme).
